Related to Padauk, carrying the same natural warmth and oil content but with burl figure that makes each set completely unlike the next. Stabilized where needed to harden the burl pockets and ensure long-term durability. The figure is among the finest of any Southeast Asian wood — chaotic, layered, and impossible to replicate.
